Lenovo has launched a new ThinkPad laptop, ThinkPad Edge. This ThinkPad Edge comes with 13, 14 and 15 inch models are designed specifically for small to medium sized business customers. The ThinkPad Edge 13 inch version will be available starting January with models starting at approximately $549. The 14 and 15 inch versions will be available starting in 2Q 2010.

Series ThinkPad Edge is a new, progressive, and a surprisingly clean look, while maintaining the durability and reliability of the ThinkPad.

Features of ThinkPad Edge as follows:

• Laptops are equipped with a waterproof keyboard
• 13inch model is the first ThinkPad notebook, which offers dual-core AMD processor technology, along with Vision Pro.
• High performance dual-core processor or Athlon X2 Neo Intel SU7300 on Intel GS45
• Optimization for Windows 7 certification by Lenovo Enhanced Experience
• This new notebook designed with an emphasis on attractive design and affordability to meet the needs of current customers clearly prefer advantageous price / quality ratio.
• Modern Keyboard – New keyboard gives the notebook a clean and pleasant appearance.
• Function keys are even designed so that users can use to access multimedia features only one finger. Other rarely used keys, such as System Request, were removed.
• Extended touchpad – Large multi-touch touchpad provides sufficient space for fingers and gestures as reduction, enlargement and scrolling, controls and facilitates Trackpoint.
